This is a review for “Know Who You Are. Live Like It Matters: A Homeschooler's Interactive Guide to Discovering Your True Identity” by Tim Tebow. Published in May 2017. Synopsis:From the books description: American sports icon, Tim Tebow knows firsthand what it's like to face pressure head-on. In Know Who You Are. Live Like It Matters, he shares the wisdom he’s learned—not from what the world says, but from what God says in His Word. Tim will guide you through thirty-six weeks of lessons, each based on a key Scripture, to discover who you are—by learning more about whose you are! You will also have the opportunity to write down your thoughts, feelings, and ideas on topics such as: * Building godly character * Maintaining great relationships * Standing out from the crowd * Doing things that matter in the big picture Get ready to live bigger than ever before…with your faith and identity secured in a God who loves you beyond measure! My Thoughts:During my time as a youth director I used Tim Tebow’s bible study materials. They were decent videos that talked about important topics. This book follows along in that same vein. It is a book that has some stories about life and a time to think and reflect on a few important question. Topics of identity, trust, and faith come to the forefront. All truths that regardless of age or schooling matter to life The title still confuses me. The tag line of “A Home Schooler’s Interactive Guide to Discovering Your True Identity” makes it seem that a person who is/was homeschooled is writing (which is true) but the title doesn’t say this book is for homeschoolers. You find that out as you read the introduction, but after the introduction and one or two chapters in the stories stop being directed to homeschoolers and becomes a book any person can use. If you’re looking for a new devotional I encourage you to look into this book. Thank you to NetGalley, WaterBrook & Multnomah, and Tim Tebow for the opportunity to review.
