But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Why do we view people as lesser? If you think your skin color, gender, height, weight, relationship status, or even religion makes you more than another person you are mistaken. Even Paul (the author of a majority of New Testament letters) talks in Philippians three about his "advantages" meaning nothing! He had everything required to be the greatest according to the religious standard, but realizes that without Christ these advantages became disadvantages. In our lives we may have a leg up. Parents not divorced, middle class family, peaceful neighborhood, but without Christ those "advantages" mean nothing. We must embrace Christ and that means treating others as equals. Everyone should have a voice and we must have ears to listen.
Q3 What are some ways to be a voice for people who don't always get the opportunity to speak?
Q4 How do you let go of your "advantages" and surrender to Christ?
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female,
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
