Ephesians 4:1-3 (ESV)
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called,
2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Q1 What phrase or sentence would summarize this passage best?
Q2 How would you describe the calling we (the church) have been given?

These verses speak directly to the people of God. We (the church) have been given a calling. This calling is not something for personal gain or success. Rather this calling is about living like the people of God. People who honor God and love in unity with the rest of Gods people. This unity though has to be done in love, in patience, in gentleness, and with humility. Humility maybe the hardest aspect for us to grasp. We as members of the church have to learn to put our pride aside and admit we can be wrong and be willing to listen well and disagree even better.

Q3 Why is humility so hard? What would life look like if you began to admit wrongs, to show real love to people regardless of their beliefs, to disagree well?
Q4 How does walking in this way protect unity?
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love
<Ephesians 4:2>
